By Header Problem

Dear Mr. Williams,

I have just downloaded your Scriptwriter's Toolkit/template for Microsoft Office 97 and have found it the best format yet to write with. However, I can't get the header to print. I can see it on the monitor screen, faded to a light gray, but it will not print out on my printer. Only the black line directly under the title and page number.
I also tried the Word 6 version, with the same results.

Since I am just a aspiring writer, I have been comparing the free software out there for script writing. And I have found your version, by far the most useful. It has the short cut key strokes I want, and hasn't a lot of extra "toys" to distract me from my central purpose. But, I need it to print out the page number when finished.

Since, I know it is free, I appreciate anytime you can give me.

Thank you,
Nancy N

This will generally be caused by your printer settings. Normally in the printer options or properties there will be a setting to print as black/white or greyscale, choose the black.white option.

Or it may be due to your margin settings, your printer may be physically unable to print in the area where the header is placed. Consult the reference manual of your printer.
